Submagic is a captioning tool that also clips. That is fine until a second person needs an account, and then it is the pricing model you are shopping against, not the features.
Their own pricing page, read 2026-09-22, prices every tier PER MEMBER: Starter $19 (45 credits, about 15 videos, 2 minutes each, 1 user), Pro $39 (120 credits, 5-minute videos, 3 users), Business $69 (300 credits, 30-minute videos, unlimited users). Annual billing is 41-51% cheaper.
Per member, per month, with a cap on how many people a tier allows. So the number on the pricing page is the number for one person. An editor, a clipper and whoever approves the posts is that number three times, on both halves of it.
Worth saying plainly: if captions are the actual work - you are polishing wording, timing and emphasis by hand on video somebody else already cut - then a captioning tool is what you want and a clipper is the add-on. The model only turns against you when the clipping is the job and the team is more than one.

Submagic is the one tool here that cannot be placed on a per-minute or per-clip axis at all, which is exactly the point of this page. The calculator says so in its own row rather than inventing a number for them.
The comparison that matters is not sticker against sticker. Multiply Submagic's by the number of people who need to be logged in, add the clipping add-on for each of them, and put that next to a plan where seats are part of what you already bought. For one person the gap is small. For three it is most of the decision.
