On a long recording SnapDub finishes first. Independent testing put Klap's processing at roughly 1:1 with source length - an hour in, an hour waiting. SnapDub's own median on sources over 40 minutes is about 30 minutes, measured across every job it has run.
The two are not priced in the same unit, which is the first thing worth knowing. Klap counts finished clips - 100 a month on Basic - so a long recording costs them nothing extra to read. SnapDub counts the work: EUR 9 covers about 142 minutes of source with clips and captions included. Long recordings cut lightly favour Klap's unit; short sources cut hard favour ours.
SnapDub reads facial expressions and on-screen action and scores the audio on its own, not just the transcript, so a wordless stretch - or a laugh nobody narrates - still scores correctly.

Run side by side on the same hour of stand-up (2026-09-21): Klap returned 21 clips and shut all but four - the rest could not be watched, let alone downloaded. SnapDub returned 36 from the same recording, and every one of them could be played and downloaded.
